9/15/03 I always seem to have this problem with finding free time when I work full time. As a result, Frozen Flux was put on the back burner for a couple of months. But fear not, I have much more story to go through before I am done with this project. I have added links to the two comics "Squaresville", and "Art of Andrew". I haven't read through their archives, but what I read made me laugh pretty hard. So go read them.
6/8/03 It's Monday, and I was pretty sick this weekend. I started feeling crappy when I woke up Friday. By Saturday morning, I was on antibiotics for I nice little sinus infection. I'm getting better now, but I felt miserable for a good couple of days. The bright side of all this was that I finally sat down to reads the book "The Adventures of Kavalier abd Clay". Although the author goes on descriptive rants throughout that can only be described as tedious and boring, there was a really good story in there, and it only took me one sitting to read the whole thing. One sitting of about 8 hours, but I had nothing else to do. So if you have the time, read "The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay". It's about a couple of comic creators in the golden age of comics back in the 1940's.
Another side-effect of being sick is that I ended up taking extra time on today's comic due to having nothing else to do too. I also see the light at the end of the tunnel that is the end of chapter 1 of Frozen Flux. It will end sometime in the next 5-8 pages. I'm trying to think up of some ideas on how to commemerate this occasion. Feel free to e-mail me with any ideas. Also feel free to visit the site www.drunkduck.com. There are a bunch of comics posted there including a mirror site to mine. Drunk duck allows the reader to leave comments at the site for the artists, and it also allows the reader to give scores to the comics. The comics with the higher scores are put higher on the list thus granting the better liked comics more exposure. So feel free to visit Drunk Duck, vote for some comics, and if you really like me, vote for mine too.
6/5/03 Looking at this website, I've come to the conclusion that it is one of the ugliest websites in the history of the internet. I am going to try to change this a little bit. I've also updated the links page by adding a link to the comic Konsekai Swordwalter, and making a new link button to Frozen Flux. Well thats about all for today, so until next time...
6/2/03 In my last rant, I promised more regular updates, and it appears that promise has become reality. I'm not sure how long this will last, as I might be working at a film festival in NYC next week. I don't know for sure if this is happening, in fact I'm pretty sure I didn't get a job there, but there is a chance. Also updated the links page. I urge you to check to see what new links can be found over there. So thats about it, so until next time...
5/26/03 Well there has been a bit of a delay since the last update, and I must apologize for that. I just moved home from school, and due to conflicts. This should change as of now, since I am now quite settled in. I'm moving back to the Monday/Friday update schedule. I also have a new forum up thanks to those cool cats at Top Web Comics. If you enjoy this here strip, please go on over to the forums and send a shoutout. The e-mail line is always open too. Thankyou and goodnight.
